One of the key cards from a very difficult set, issued by Howard W. Spurr & Co. to promote Number 7, Diamond S, and CS. White & Co. cigars. The 15-card set featured black and white illustrations of Boston players, including Hall of Famers Brouthers, John Clarkson, King Kelly, and Hoss Radbourn. The card has been graded GOOD 2 by PSA, largely due to a pronounced stain at the bottom-right corner, along with some moderate corner rounding. The Number 7 Cigar ad on the reverse is clean and bold. A very difficult card, the only example graded by PSA, with two others graded by SGC.
