Approx. 22" x 25" cloth tapestry displaying the names of 29 members of the 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers, including Jackie Robinson. This unusual piece originates directly from the collection of former Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher, Clyde King whose name appears in green at the upper-right corner. Small pennants displaying "Brooklyn" and "Dodgers" are interspersed between the player's names against a white background with age-related toning and several visible folds from storage. Blue border and tassels appear to be fully intact with "Exclusively Licensed by the Brooklyn Dodgers" stitched along the left edge. An interesting Brooklyn Dodgers-related memento with impeccable provenance.
