Throughout this collection Williams appears to be spending time with friends while enjoying off the field outdoor activities like shooting, hunting, and flying. Ranging in size from 2.5" x 3.5" to 3.5" x 6", many of the photos include handwritten notations on reverse and are dated to 1941 or 1942. 19 of the included photos depict Ted Williams either alone or with another individual, including his future wife, Doris Soule. 11 photos depict individuals other than Williams, with six showing Doris Soule alone. 28 unique pre-war snapshots total, originating directly from Ted Williams himself.
