c.1950s New York Yankees 1/10th 10k Gold Balfour Pin with top hat logo. From the personal collection of former Brooklyn Dodger, and 1982 New York Yankees manager, Clyde King. This beautiful pin remains in outstanding condition with it's original case. Crafted by the L.G. Balfour company, reverse of pin is engraved "LGB 1/10 10k" communicating that it was made with 10 karat gold, the gold constituting up to 1/10th of the pin's overall weight. Stored in it's original box for many decades, pin shows signs of light use within the raised portions and to the colored enamel. Approx. 1.5." in diameter.
