Collection of 15 identical business cards created for distribution by 1970 San Francisco Giants manager, Clyde King. King's Giants toured Japan in March of 1970, playing exhibition games against Japanese teams as an extension of their regular training that spring. All 15 business cards include Japanese characters on reverse that translate to "San Francisco Giants / Clyde King." Cards remain in excellent overall condition with a hint of even toning to some. Also included is a 4" diameter patch from the U.S. Military's Far East Network, who broadcast news and other content to U.S forces serving primarily in Japan, Okinawa, the Philippines, and Guam. A unique grouping of material related to the 1970 San Francisco Giants visit to Japan, straight from the collection of their manager.
