1927 snapshot photo of Babe Ruth sporting his Bustin' Babe's uniform during the Bambino's celebrated barnstorming exhibition tour. The presented snapshot is dated to Oct 18, 1927 on verso, less than two weeks subsequent to the New York Yankees domination of the Pittsburgh in the 1927 World Series. Ruth's likeness appears to be slightly out of focus while an unidentified teammate looks on. October 18 places the image of Ruth at Stockyards Park in Sioux City, IA where headlines later read: "5,0000 S.C. Fans See Babe Ruth Hit Homer." Approx. 2.75" x 4.5" photo remains in beautiful overall condition, free from imperfections aside from the gentlest of toning on verso indicating this example was once secured to an album page with the use of photo corners. A great full-length look at the Babe from the camera of an amateur hoping to get a shot of baseball's biggest star. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA.
