Each photo depicts hopefuls or members of the c.1905-14 New York Highlanders, with six of the eight examples clearly captured during spring workouts. Collection includes: 1) Walter Hutchison & Owen Quinn, neither of whom made a major league roster 2) Owen Quinn at first base 3) Lute Boone taking a hack.
