Collection of four original Deadball Era photos from master photographer Charles Martin Conlon. Each example included measures approx. 8" x 10" with Conlon's personal credit stamping at center of verso and his handwritten identifier of each player above. Photos remain highly attractive overall with gentle toning to reverse and a few small chips to corners. Collection includes: 1) Pete Compton of the St. Louis Browns at Hilltop Park c.1911-12 2) Chief Johnson of the Cincinnati Reds at the Polo Grounds in 1913. 3) Moose McCormick of the New York Giants at the Polo Grounds in 1909. 4) Harry Wolter of the New York Highlanders at Hilltop Park in 1910. All examples are guaranteed to return as Type I if submitted to PSA for authentication.
