A fabulous 1910's portrait of Gandil, in front of his dugout, with exceptional tonal contrast and clarity. Photo remains impressively clean throughout with multiple credit stampings from Underwood & Underwood applied to verso. Photo appears to have been trimmed down from it's original dimensions, displaying razor sharp edges and corners on all four sides. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA.
