The first of two consecutive World Series matchups featuring the New York Giants and New York Yankees whose ballparks were almost exactly one mile apart in Harlem and the Bronx respectively. Some general wear to corners of front cover with light soiling visible within the top third. Interior pages remain unscored and attractive throughout with light toning to outer perimeter. A fantastic piece of Depression-era memorabilia, with relevance to the careers of 11 Hall of Famers who managed or competed in the series, including Lou Gehrig and Joe DiMaggio.
