Bill George pitched in 19 major league games between 1887 and 1889, mostly unimpressive outings with the New York Giants. All his known Old Judge cards picture him with the Giants, this one dating to 1889 (at which point he had moved on to the Chicago White Stockings). An exceptional, higher-grade specimen, the card is sharp and clean, with EX/MT corners and a strong image.
