The player shown, John Hummel, was praised for his defensive versatility and spent a decade playing anywhere the second division Brooklyn Superbas needed him. (It is hard to know today whether a team remains in the second division for that long because they rely on such players, or in spite of relying on such players.)

The SGC PR 1 grade reflects rounded corners, creasing, and pencil marks on the reverse. Regardless of condition, T213 card images prove distinctive and attractive, making an accessible start for interested collectors. The SGC population report shows just one such graded and PSA shows two more.
