c.1940's Type I photo of ten-time World Champion, Lawrence Peter "Yogi" Berra. This is a tremendous photograph of the highest possible quality, with fine details like the information branded on Yogi's bat clearly visible to the naked eye. Berra's cap is sporting a logo used only from 1922-48; placing th3 image sometime between his first appearance with New York in 1946, and no later than 1948, before the Yankees moved to a more pronounced cap logo the following season. Overall condition remains exceptional with impressively clean emulsion surface and verso. Credit stamping from the United Press has been applied to verso with handwritten notations along the top edge.
