While the original Cubs team pose from 1959 naturally included Wrigley Field Ivy in its background, this Topps version is otherwise faithful to their photo. It includes Hall of Famer Ernie Banks near the center, as well as prewar legend and coach Rogers Hornsby seated in front of him. Fleer collectors will remember that Hornsby also appeared in their 1961 Baseball Greats set, which also shows Hornsby and this explains why that card shows him wearing a contemporary Cubs uniform!
