This T206 card shows Detroit pitcher Ed Summers, ace of its 1908 and 1909 pennant winners. Trivia masters might also remember him as one half of an 18-inning shutout tie against the 1909 Senators or how Ed hit both career homers in a single 1910 game.

PSA's population reports show they grade Sovereign backs at one-tenth the rate of Piedmont (its most common back), making them one of the tougher T206 variations. Its PSA PR 1 grade reflects corner rounding and diagonal creases.
