Stunning and infrequently seen Baseball Hall of Fame metallic plaque card signed boldly by Ted Williams in perfect blue Sharpie. The metallic baseball cards were sold by the Hall of Fame between 1981 and 1989 as single cards. It has been stated that only 1 000 of each card were produced but it is theorized that many of the cards were damaged or destroyed so the number of surviving examples of each card is likely fewer than that. While the cards themselves are not susceptible to condition issues due to their rigid construction signed examples are prone to smudging. This example has had no such wear and is now authenticated and encapsulated by SGC. A wonderful signature.
