Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA this postcard signed and inscribed by Ira Thomas is one of a number of signatures featured in this auction that originate from players included in the T206 set. Thomas pitched 10 years in total with the Yankees Tigers and Athletics compiling a .242 lifetime batting average in 1 352 at bats all but two of his games played behind the plate. This signature in bold ink has been particularly well-preserved the postcard clean and unblemished save for some postal marks. Thomas passed away in 1958.
