Grouping of six panoramic postcards, each featuring a different scene or team. Collection includes: 1) C. 1900s College de Saint-Laurent Baseball Grounds Panoramic Postcard: Just shy of 11" in width by 3 3/8" in height, panoramic postcard depicting baseball fields at the College of St. Laurent in Montreal. The photo image pictures players on the field, though the ballfields do not appear to be in particularly good shape. French writing on the reverse, translated to English, reads "Our five fields where we play base-ball." Additional writing on the reverse was clearly done by postcard dealers over the years. GOOD condition with heavy creasing at the fold, some corner and edge wear, including a small, upper-left corner clip. 2) c.1900s Amateur Baseball Panoramic Unused Real Photo Postcard: Measuring 10 7/8" x 3 1/2", black and white panoramic photo was intended to be a folded panoramic postcard, but has never been folded or postally used. one fingerprint-sized stain is evident along the bottom edge of the front, some light pencil writing is observable on the reverse, along with some minimal foxing. 3) 1912 Reynoldsville vs. Ridgway (PA) Panoramic Real Photo Postcard: Beautiful panoramic photo featuring the participants in the Western Pennsylvania League championship, Reynoldsville and Ridgeway (we were curious, but could not find the game results in our research). The photo is tremendous, picturing both teams and their rooters, some light silvering in the image evident. EX appearance but technically FAIR due to scrapbook remnants on the reverse, the piece has never been scored or folded. 4) 1934 Koshien Stadium (Osaka, Japan) Tour of Japan Panoramic Postcard: Attractive blue-toned photo of Koshien Stadium in Osaka (misspelled "Kosher" in our printed catalog due to a bad autocorrect we did not notice). Writing on the reverse dates the postcard and photo to August 8, 1934, during the tour of Japan and listing three games between the American and Japanese teams. Panoramic photo pictures the entire park during game play, the stands filled with fans. 11" x 3 1/2" unfolded, the perforated center fold weakened with age, FAIR condition considering the fold and writing on the reverse (though the writing is what makes the postcard most interesting). 5) Early 1900s House of David Baseball Park (Benton Harbor, MI) Unused Panoramic Postcard: Outstanding 10 7/8" x 3 3/8" panoramic postcard pictures game play at the House of David Baseball Park in Benton Harbor, MI. The card front appears VG, though the postcard is scored in the center it appears never to have been actually folded. A name (perhaps "Quint J Leorra") has been elegantly written along the left edge of the reverse, with some age-related edge toning visible along the top edge of the verso. 6) 1917 Spalding & Bros Baseball Equipment Extension Postcard: Outstanding postcard advertisement for Spalding Baseball uniforms, unmailed but scored and folded at the center, proving what marketers today call a "bounceback card" for customers to purchase said uniforms and also request a free catalog. VG condition with some light staining on the reverse. Six postcards total.
