Rare cabinet photo featuring the player often considered to be the finest of his era.  Ewing is pictured here in the prime of his Hall of Fame career, as a member of the New York Giants. Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA, the card does exhibit some soiling and a light exposure as is often associated with the issue. The reverse exhibits similar soiling and a small spot of paper remnant from scrapbook removal. A light but visible crease traverses the card horizontally across the center. Regardless, any N173 Old Judge cabinet is highly desirable and no advanced 19th Century collection can be considered complete without one.
