1953 edition of the American Card Catalog, published by hobby pioneers Jefferson Burdick, Charles Bray and Gene DeNardo, with editorial assistance from Woody Gelman. More elaborately designed, with introductory copy beginning every section, the catalog lists all the known card sets by their ACC designation and provides brief descriptions and prices for each.  The publication also lists designation for such esoteric items as soda cards, matchbooks, advertising trade cards, banners and calendars, and includes far more description than past issues. Extensive advertising in the back of the publication includes want lists and sales ads from such hobby pioneers as Gelman, Bray, Fanny Troyer, Goodwin Goldfaden, Edgar Wharton-Tigar, Dr. Lawrence Kurzrok, Wirt Gammon, and many more.  VG-EX condition with some light wear and creasing to the cover and a few handwritten notations here and there.
