Grouping of five woodcut baseball images from various 19th Century publications.  Each of the five woodcuts have been matted and were once framed; for protection purposes we have elected to keep the delicate woodcuts in their mattes.  Collection includes the following: October 26, 1869 Harper's Weekly: The Champion Nine of the Union Base-Ball Club of Morrisania, New York. July 2, 1870 Harper's Weekly: Match between the "Red Stockings" and the "Atlantics."  Some heavy creasing and a few small tears down the center. September 12, 1874 Harper's Weekly: The American Base-Ball Players in England - Match between the Red Stockings and the Athletics. October 13, 1883 Harper's Weekly: Boston Baseball Club featuring the team members in street clothes. October 20, 1888 Harper's Weekly:  Winning Battery of the New York Baseball Team, featuring Hall of Famers Tim Keefe and Buck Ewing.  Five woodcuts total.
