Collector-grade card of Jimmie Foxx retains its color and boasts eye appeal far in excess of the assigned grade. The grade is perplexing; the card certainly has flaws but they are flaws that must be viewed under magnification - a series of what appears to be flattened wrinkles traverse the card here and there, notably at the bottom half as well as the top-right corner. Whether these flaws are enough to qualify the card for a POOR grade are, obviously the judgement call of a grader, but the eye appeal of the card is quite strong for the grade regardless.
