The 1952 Coca-Cola
Tips cards were a 10-card set distributed in the New York area
featuring players from the three New York baseball teams. Though widely
popular, due to the die-cutting, these are highly condition-sensitive.
Dodgers outfielder Carl Furillo is the subject of this example, graded Poor 1 by
PSA with some light surface wear and faint soiling toward the bottom. The reverse has some light paper loss which does not affect the front, but does keep this from grading even higher than it already has.
The scarcity of this issue far outweighs any cosmetic flaws on this example. PSA has only ever graded 27 total examples of this card.
