Born in 1882 in Detroit, "Big Ed" Reulbach was a 2-time World Series winning pitcher with the Chicago Cubs, winning the Series in 1907 and 1908 over his hometown Detroit Tigers. Having passed away in July of 1961, Reulbach's autograph is tough to come by, but that's exactly what we have here on a government postcard dated 1949.

In beautiful cursive penmanship written with a blue ink pen, the retired ballplayer wrote:

"A Merry Xmas
and
Happy New Year
Ed Reulbach
Chicago Cubs"

Postmarked from New York on November 24, 1949 on the reverse, Reulbach has also addressed the envelope is his hand to the recipient:

"Billy Graham
3234 - N 2nd St.
Philadelphia 40 - Penna"

Authenticated by PSA/DNA, this is a tremendous piece.
