Presented here is what is easily the key card of the 159-card 1912 Zeenut PCL issue: that of Hall of Famer Dave Bancroft. Along with his E136 Home Run Kisses card of the same year, the 1912 Zeenut is often considered Bancroft's rookie card among advanced collectors, making this particularly desirable.

Corners and edges are soft and show appropriate wear for the grade. Some creasing - particularly near the corners - and some surface abrasions throughout keep the card from grading higher than it has. However a hole punched through the card in the top right quadrant is the main explanation for the technical grade. Luckily, that hole goes through the background of the image, missing Bancroft completely, and affects no image or text on the reverse. Very nice printing on the front shows great detail in Bancroft's dark uniform. The scarcity of this issue far outweighs any cosmetic flaws on this example.

SGC has only ever graded 11 total examples of this 1912 Zeenut PCL, with only six receiving a higher grade than the Poor 1 offered here of Hall of Famer Dave Bancroft.
