Complete 1955 Bowman set, one of the more underrated of its era. The cards are particularly condition-sensitive due to a propensity for chipping, with centering issues quite common as well. The set is exceptional because it includes a number of umpires in the higher-numbers, one of the only mainstream card issues to do so and certainly the only set of the gum card era. The set grades VG/EX in general, with some lesser, including a few lower grade due to creasing. Similarly, some EX and above cards are included in the set. Key cards grade as follows: #1 Wilhelm (VG), #10 Rizzuto (VG/EX), #22 Campanella (VG), #25 Minoso (VG), #29 Schoendienst (VG), #33 Fox (VG), #37 Reese (VG/EX), #38 Wynn (VG), #59 Ford (VG), #89 Boudreau (VG), #103 Mathews (VG/EX), #130 Ashburn (VG), #134 Feller (VG/EX), #168 Berra (VG), #179 Aaron (G), #184 Mays (VG/EX), #202 Mantle (VG), #242 Banks (VG/EX), #283 Chalk (VG). 320 cards total.
