Outstanding 1954 Topps complete set as assembled in its year of issue and consigned directly to Love of the Game from its original owner.  The cards are all attractive and clean, with signs of light handling on some (including some of the most popular), with technical grades largely in the middle of the scale, despite stronger eye appeal.  This is a perfect set for a collector with an eye for fresh cards without significant wear and tear.  We took the liberty of submitting ten cards to PSA for grading, which were returned as follows: #1 Williams (PSA GOOD+ 2.5), #10 Robinson (PSA EX 5), #45 Ashburn (PSA EX 5), #90 Mays (PSA EX 5), #94 Banks (PSA VG 3), #102 Hodges (PSA EX-MT 6), #128 Aaron (PSA VG 3), #132 Lasorda (PSA VG 3), #201 Kaline (PSA VG-EX 4), and #250 Williams (PSA VG-EX 4).

In its entirety, a technical breakdown of the set would be approximately 7% EX-MT, 27% EX, 35% VG-EX, 28% VG, 2% GOOD with a few lesser.  The remaining key cards break down as follows: #3 Irvin (VG), #17 Rizzuto (EX), #20 Spahn (VG-EX), #30 Mathews (VG), #32 Snider (VG-EX), #37 Ford (EX), #36 Wilhelm (VG-ES), #50 Berra (VG), #70 Doby (VG-EX), #187 Manush (VG).  A very strong set from Topps' third season producing baseball cards, an important set containing the rookie cards of Hall of Famers Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Al Kaline and Tom Lasorda.  250 cards total.
