Gorgeous Sporting News supplement of Babe Ruth.  The VG 3 grade assigned by PSA is almost insulting, given the extreme attractiveness of this 1926 piece (labeled 1927 by PSA despite the date printed directly on the supplement).  Printed on extremely flimsy paper, these supplements are susceptible to all manner of wear and damage.  This one retains its original form with sharp corners and a clean surface. A couple of light blemishes are visible here and there.  Despite the lower grade, this example is stunning, and is, in fact, the highest-graded of 11 examples PSA has assessed, the only example of the supplement to have attained that level. The image of Ruth is unblemished.  An outstanding piece.
