Yet another in a large group of 1914 Cracker Jack Hall of Famers to be featured in this auction most of which come from the collection of an advanced hobbyist with a keen eye for centering and eye appeal in lower to midgrade cards. This example of White Sox Hall of Famer Ray Schalk has been graded VG/EX 50 by SGC the very moderate caramel staining being the card's primary flaw. Such staining is typical of these cards given their method of distribution as it is difficult to find cards from this set without such staining. Despite this the card itself is attractive the more visible staining found on the card reverse or obscured by the bold red background.
