Dockman & Sons was one of several brands captured in the E92 universe and are difficult
to track down today. Issued in 1909, the illustrations from the set are well-rendered and the cards are quite colorful.
This
example, featuring Chicago's Frank Chance, is centered far north on the canvas. Heavily rounded corners and some edge wear keep this card from grading even higher than it
already has, but the scarcity of this issue far outweighs any cosmetic flaws on this example.
SGC has only ever graded 38 total
examples of this 1909 E92, with only twenty receiving a higher grade than
the Good 2 offered here of Hall of Famer Frank Chance.
