Martin F. "Duck" Duke pitched in 76 games across two seasons for the Minneapolis Millers of the Western Association between 1889 and 1891. He played an addition 22 games among the three outfield positions, and one more game behind the plate as the other member of a battery. Duke has five different poses in
the N172 issue; this is the only example of this pose graded by PSA.
The image is slightly faded on this card, but is absolutely still visible and visually interesting. Centering is slightly west and south on the canvas, but artificially so, as the card's Authentic grade is due to evidence of trimming along the left side. There is also some faint writing on the back in the upper right corner which does not affect the front.
