The 1933 Worch Cigar brand is one of the most interesting of all the postcard issues the early 20th Century, the Babe Ruth being one of the most sought-after cards of its era.  Presented here is an incredible companion, a fully intact box once housing Worch brand cigars.  Measuring 10 7/8" x 5 1/2" x 3 3/4", the wooden box is in outstanding condition, the tax stamp still attached but peeling away at the front of the box.  Some pencil writing is visible at the top and bottom of the box (the number "1951" written at the top perhaps a clue to its vintage).  The interior label is printed in blue, black and gold, the hinge intact but the interior label broken all the way across the box, simply a result of repeated opening and not really a statement on condition.  Overall, an outstanding display.
