Fantastic original photograph of 1929 Chicago Cubs stars Rogers Hornsby, Hack Wilson, Kiki Cuyler, and Riggs Stephenson. The 98-win 1929 National League Champions led the league in home runs behind Hack Wilson's then career best 39 round-trippers (he'd lead the league with 56 in 1930), and NL MVP Rogers Hornsby's 39 home runs of his own while sporting a .380 average. Photo measures approx. 5.25" x 8.25" and has been unevenly trimmed around the edges. An obvious crease where the photo has been folded runs vertically down the center and a small area where the emulsion has cracked rests beside Stephenson's left ear. Underwood & Underwood credit stamping has been applied to verso with handwritten identifications of Wilson and Hornsby at the top. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
