Measuring roughly 34" in lengthy, this early baseball bat represents another trend that was popular around the turn of the century - the ball knob.  Much like the mushroom bats of the era, the ball knob was created to balance out the weight of the bat, with an emphasis on making contact.  It was not a game of power and home runs, base hits and advancing the runner was the objective.  This blonde beauty retains tight grain a smooth surface with no cracks, very well-preserved.
