Gorgeous full-color lithograph featuring a number of sports figures including Hall of Famer Buck Ewing in a portrait reminiscent of his N29 Allen & Ginter card.  Also pictured is Buffalo Bill Cody.  Extremely attractive and colorful, this scarce label was produced by O.L. Schwenke of New York, a lithographer known for their colorful, historically-oriented prints.  The label has been identified as a salesman's sample and graded EX 7 by GCLGS, a defunct but reputable grading company that specialized in cigar box labels.  A beautiful piece from a very underrated form of collectible.
