A perhaps somewhat reflective Jackson appears in this photo at the age of 58, six short years before his death in December of 1951, the first of all eight "Black Sox" to pass away. Photo measures approx. 6.5" x 8.75 with a faint crease visible in the upper-right corner. What appears to be a small clipping from a magazine remains affixed to verso, surrounded by a multitude of handwritten notations. A date stamp of June 23, 1946 appears at the bottom.
