and became the Twins, the F&M Savings
Bank of Minneapolis
issued a set of 13
advertising matchbooks in 1961 and
1962. The outer-back panel has a black
and white player portrait photo, with
ten Minnesota Twin players wearing a
Washington Senators team logo baseball
cap (Issued in 1961), and three players
wearing a Minnesota Twins team logo cap
(issued in 1962) for a total of 13
players. To the left of each player
portrait is the team official logo
sandwiched by "Minnesota Twins" in red.
Included in this offering: Harmon Killebrew, Lenny Green, Billy Gardner, Reno Bertoia, Earl Battey, Bob Allison, Pedro Ramos, Camilo Pascual, Jim Lemon, and Cookie Lavagetto, completing the 10 matchbooks issued in 1961.
While these matchbooks are not graded, they are all in EX+ condition with strong corners and edges, and clean, untouched strikers. The colors remain bold, and the images clear.
