Though the game has not been scored inside this ornate 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" program, the final score has been written inside the interior pages, suggesting the game took place on Thursday, April 21, a 10-2 Phillies win over the Senators on just the third game of the season.  For the Phillies, the lineup included future Hall of Famers Billy Hamilton, Ed Delahanty and Sam Thompson.  Washington's lineup included future HOFer Deacon McGuire.  The Phillies' lineup had four outfielders that hit .400 in 1894 - the three Hall of Famers plus Tuck Turner.  Every Phillies starter hit .300 or better, with first baseman Jack Boyle hitting .300, second baseman Bill Hallman at .312, catcher Jack Clements batting .351, shortstop Joe Sullivan hitting .353 and third baseman Lave Cross at .387.  Despite this, the Phillies finished in fourth place in the National League, the Baltimore Orioles winning the championship with their famed squad.

The four-page program and scorecard does exhibit age-related wrinkling with some light staining on the cover, the signs of a long-ago flattened fold also evident.  The gold printing on the cover has retained its sparkle, a beautiful and ornate three-color print job gracing the front and back cover.  A price of $145 has been written lightly in pencil on the reverse.  A beautiful piece, highly desirable due to the inclusion of Delahanty plus four other Hall of Famers.
