Undated, typewritten letter from Hall of Famer Waite Hoyt to "Mr. Marcus" regarding an episode of The Way It Was, a television program hosted by Curt Gowdy that aired between 1974 and 1977.  Hoyt refers to an episode that may have covered the 1927 Yankees, and also mentions some television programs local to Hoyt on which he appeared.  He closes the letter "Cast La Guerre" ("such is war"), and signs his first name alone, in black marker.  Basic cert from James Spence Authentication.
