Spectacular 1953 personal check signed by Moe Berg (who signed with his full name), drawn on the National Newark & Essex Banking Co.  One of baseball's most fascinating figures, Berg lived out much of his post-baseball (and post-spy) career in New Jersey.  The check does exhibit some ink bleed from one of its many stamps, the cancellation hole punches obstructing the signature itself.  Regardless, Berg's signature is relatively tough, official instruments like this very desirable.
