Unquestionably, whenever Ruth's likeness appears in a baseball card set during his playing years, it automatically becomes the set's key card. It is no exception with 1929 Kashins that, as the value of Ruth's card eclipses that of all the others despite its plentiful nature in comparison with the other cards in the set. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA, the card is strong, with notable wear at the upper-left corner, softness at the remaining corners and edges, and some additional surface wear contributing to the grade. Mild water staining at the top-right corner also contributes. Still, a card with eye appeal that surpasses the assigned grade.
