The young rivals stand posed at Navin Field, Vitt twenty two years old and Weaver only twenty one. An obvious area of paper loss appears beneath photo at bottom edge of gently toned mount. Verso includes handwritten inscription stating photo was a gift presented to sports promoter Gene Doyle from Vitt and Weaver. Overall dimensions of approx. 8" x 10" with photo measuring approx 4.75" x 7".
