A colorful example from the 1951 Bowman set, this Early Wynn entry has tons of eye appeal. Centering is just slightly south and east on the canvas, but has beautifully sharp edges and corners. Evidence of handling at the bottom corners are the only other imperfections, with even the back presenting wonderfully clean.

Wynn finished his Hall of Fame career with exactly 300 wins, missing out on a season and a half of starts due to his military service. 1951 saw the right hander win 20 games while leading the league in starts and innings pitched, finishing the season 16th in MVP voting.
