There are two different Harry Steinfeldt cards included in the T206 set. One depicts him in front of a yellow background holding a bat. This version, featuring a portrait of the infielder in front of an orange and red background, is the more rare of the two. Many T206 collectors use the set as a study in the physical printing of cards, and this example shows a registration issue causing the background to be slightly right of the border in which it is supposed to be encapsulated. Corners are rounded and worn consistent with the grade, and the image is centered just slightly south and west on the canvas. A very minor crease toward the lower right corner and some light staining on the back are the only other issues keeping this card from grading higher than it did. SGC has only ever graded 7 total examples of this El Principe de Gales back version of the Steinfeldt, with NONE receiving a higher grade than the VG+ 3.5 offered here.

Steinfeldt played 14 seasons in the Major Leagues, primarily for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs. He led MLB in hits and RBI in 1906, leading the Cubs to their first of four World Series appearances in a five year span. He collected 19 hits and scored 7 runs in 21 career WS games, helping the Cubs win the 1907 and 1908 titles.
