We have made the decision to break up an EXTRAORDINARY 1963 Topps set - the #4 Master Set on the PSA Set Registry. The 1963 set is a particularly difficult set to complete in high grade due to Topps' poor quality control in the era which resulted in considerable print defects. The large and colorful border at the bottom simultaneously lends a distinctive design element and a condition challenge, as they are extremely susceptible to chipping and wear. 

The example offered here is card #2, 1962 AL Batting Leaders, graded NM-MT 8. The main attraction of this card is 1962 MVP Mickey Mantle, with Floyd Robinson, Pete Runnels, Chuck Hinton, and Norm Siebern rounding out the batting leaders from the year before. This offering exhibits great corners and edges, and wonderful centering, while the bright colors have remained beautifully vibrant. A couple fisheyes on the front and some extremely light ink staining at the top of the back are the only things keeping this from grading even higher.
