Part of an extraordinary candy issue about what little is known, the date simply a guess based on the style of the uniform Ruth wears on the various cards. The cards vary in size, all depicting Babe Ruth and printed in red white and blue as part of a candy box. Each box contained a photo of Ruth along with a redemption offer of an autographed Ruth ball redeemable for 250 pictures plus one of five action photos. The cards are scarce and desirable, with seven unnumbered cards in the complete set. Perhaps the most common but also the most popular, this card pictures a portrait of Ruth set inside the image of a baseball, the redemption offer printed at the top and bottom. The GOOD 2 grade assessed by SGC addresses the visible corner wear, most notable at the top right and bottom left. Overall softness is a result of plenty of handling over the years, but the color and print registration conspire to make a vivid, attractive card. A very scarce card from a seldom seen issue.
