Large format 8" x 10" silver gelatin photograph featuring New York Yankees manager, Miller Huggins. A photographer from Paul Thompson's news photo service has captured Huggins sometime during the late teens or early 1920's at the start of a tenure that produced six pennants and three World Series championships for his club. All four corners of this photo have chipped away but thanks to the substantially thick, white borders the central image remains unimpacted. Photo displays beautifully despite Huggins appearing slightly out of focus in this image. Large Paul Thompson credit stamping appears on verso along with a handwritten identifier of the Hall of Famer in pencil above. Authenticated by PSA/DNA as a Type 1 photo.
