The 1968 Topps 3-D Baseball set still exerts an almost magnetic pull on collectors. Tested in Brooklyn then seemingly abandoned due to production difficulties, examples have trickled in to the hobby over the years but there never seems to be enough supply to meet demand. Ron Swoboda has been graded as PSA 9 and he sure looks good here. The card is uncracked, which is a small miracle as it's infamous for doing so and the back looks superb, with just one tiny dollop of foxing near the bottom. If you group the 3-D's into three tiers of overall difficulty, Swoboda is firmly in the middle one.
