The 1968 Topps 3-D Baseball set still exerts an almost magnetic pull on collectors. Tested in Brooklyn then seemingly abandoned due to production difficulties, examples have trickled in to the hobby over the years but there never seems to be enough supply to meet demand. Tony Perez was one of the dozen issued subjects as is looking good in a PSA 8 holder. The front is uncracked (they can crack in the holders well after they were slabbed) and the back is a winter wonderland of white. Perez is neither the easiest or toughest subject in the set, where all examples are highly coveted.
