On May 12, 1951, the New York Yankees, with an upstart rookie named Mickey Mantle batting leadoff, invaded Philadelphia’s Shibe Park to take on the A’s. When all the dust had settled, the Yanks prevailed, 8-4, as Mantle went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored. Presented here is an original ticket stub to that game, which has been graded PSA Good 2. A lower box seat (Box 32/Row 12/Seat 3), the ticket stub shows toning with a torn edge and includes the facsimile signature of A’s Team President and Owner Connie Mack.
